Presby's Friendship Group
Formed in the 1980’s by Mrs. Whomsley, wife of our late minister Rev.H.Whomsley, initially comprising of the younger ladies of the church whose aim was to organize fundraising events for local and international charities, fellowship and socializing. Catering for festivities such as the St.David’s day cawl cennin and of course providing suitable entertainment, an event looked forward to by many. Providing a harvest supper for over 100 guests and memorable Young Wives Christmas services are also firmly embedded in church history.
Today we are known as the Friendship group as we are young at heart ladies and gentlemen who continue to organize fundraising events and welcome guests to our Harvest and Christmas festive meals.
We welcome members and non members of Presby to join our very active group. Meeting on a monthly basis in each others homes to organize our events and catch up on family and church news, we are a friendly bunch of people.
